About Us
A history of growth
European Packaging Centre is an independent pharmaceutical contract-manufacturer.
Starting in 1994 as MPF the focus was on packing pharmaceuticals. In a new building designed for pharmaceutical activities we started to work with generic companies on product launches, production constraints and regular packaging.
As our customers grew, so did we. The building was expanded in 1998, 2001 and 2003.
The story continues
Now as part of the Packaging Group European Packaging Centre is the centre of excellence for generic and registered pharmaceutical packing.
In 2009 a new building was completed, enhancing the production capacity that is needed in a growing challenging market.
Today the company has facilities with more than 20.000 m2, 34 dedicated lines and over 220 staff members.

Besides packing, the production of filling of powders and fluids for the pharmaceutical market was started and is now an integral part of the business.
Being seen as a strategic partner, our customers included our site in numerous registration files.
We continued to deliver country specific packing for all EU countries.
In 2007 the company was taken over by United Drug and became part of the Packaging Group.
with new support concepts
Together with our customers we develop new support concepts, related to product launches, cost optimizing, supporting corporate consolidations, packing products from Asia and more.
A new development is the incorporation of existing packing plants and departments under management of European Packaging Centre under the name of Managed Packaging Network.
